Scuba diving therapy

Here’s a really great feel good story from The Washington Post …
UK and US troops that have been severely injured as part of their service are scuba diving in the Florida Keys to help rehabilitate themselves.
This won’t come as too much of a surprise to regular who see a relatively large number of people with disability who dive - simply because once in the water many disabilities are made irrelevant or at least reduced.
As a fully able diver I probably don’t appreciate quite what this means, I certainly don’t know what it’s like to live with a disability - and I count myself very lucky in that respect - but even I love the freedom that diving offers. That extra dimension of up and down as well as the normal, left/right and forward/back is an amazing sensation.
